i love how the shop looks at night this time of year… another shot of the dress, better i think.  with a little friend.

i shipped out this little beauty to berlin this week.  i love having things i’ve made be trans-continental.  it’s a special feeling.  ( for a 120 gb iPod )

i’ve been making beaded braided bracelets.

i finally downloaded the driver for L’s scanner and have just been cranking out the scans for the past few days.  this is one of my favorite prints from the summer printmaking course i took in prague, 2003.

new work… the henna stripe iphone case

my pal taylor asked me to make her a case for her canon g10 camera.  she’s a particularly hip brooklynite who’se only suggestion was “maybe a crazy floral and plaid combo that clash? i trust your judgement.”  i think i succeeded.  i didn’t go for a plaid but i did use 3 clashing fabrics, two of which are vintage/recycled, that i think make a niiice crazy sauce.  mmm yummy.  crazy sauce.  i padded it with an old sweater and did a bit of quilting on the sides with hot pink thread.  there is a pocket inside for her little camera accessories.  i still might make a matching wrist strap with that blue squares fabric.  hope she likes it!

i put some leather rings in my etsy shop today. i made them from scraps during my time as a studio assistant for a leather handbag maker.

yesterday i made a case for my friend deanna’s new blackberry storm.
